Kind of like heaven...

It was wonderful today to watch Matt & Rachel come down the escalator with Ollie at the airport. He had sisters, extended family and lots of friends and babysitters waiting for him that he did not know, nor could he understand. He was so good, looking at the balloons and all of the people. He cannot understand that we have been waiting for him, watching for him, loving pictures of him and learning his vital statistics. We were cheering him on as he came through those doors. It made me think of heaven, and what it must be like to get a reception there. We'll get to meet our Father, that we've never seen before. We'll get to reunite with loved ones who have gone before us, and see many who we don't know, but they know us! (Don't you love that!) Like Ollie will get to know all of us, in heaven we'll have many years to get to know all of those we meet. How awesome is that?
