What's been going on....

Someone whose opinion I respect suggested that I blog about what has been going on in our adoption process. I've been holding off talking about it because it has been a long journey of Believing God. About 6 weeks ago now, our agency called and offered us another baby. He was born Jan 27 and his issues were non-issues to us. This was sudden for us as we were told that it could be 21 months before we were offered a baby. A week and a half later, after much prayer, we accepted this boy. Tom and myself both believe that this was the child God had for us and even though we weren't financially ready for this, we believed He would have us go forward. This was extremely scary for us. God has led us every step of the way so far. He has paid for every cent of the adoption so far also. Many of you contributed to our yard sale and were such a blessing to us. Still other things have helped to meet this need. We received his paper work 4 weeks ago and completed everything except sending in the check. We can't move ahead until we have the rest of the money (app. $16,000). We have tried every avenue that we can think of to get the money, but none is going to work. We still believe that this is God's plan and He will work it out in His time. Our family asks for your prayers at this time. We believe our God will work miracles.
