For the past four years we have had Easter dinner with the Jeppsen's. It's been so much fun to go to their house and let the girls hunt for eggs and then have ham and hashbrown casserole and then more hashbrown casserole for dessert. We never really did the "Easter Egg Hunt" thing with the girls before we moved here, but they really enjoy it.
Easter Sunday is also the day we would celebrate Tom's Dad's birthday and his Auntie Karen's birthday with the family. We would meet at his Grammy's house and we would eat finger food while she made a great lunch. The girls would look in their Easter baskets from the 2 Grammy's and we would catch up with everyone. When the family was all there, Tom and I would sometimes still have to sit at the kids table, but we didn't mind so much. :) Then, after lunch, we would have cake and presents for those with birthdays. We really miss seeing them all. The picture above is of Auntie Karen and Uncle Chris and Aubre and Amanda. Happy birthday, by the way!
It's so hard when you want to be two places at once. We wouldn't really want to miss the Easter celebration at any of the places we love. But, because Easter happened, one day we'll all be together in heaven. What a celebration that will be!

Your girls are turning into such young ladies! When did this happen?
Not to get too mushy, but I thank God that He gave you to me as my sister. I know that you miss your family during the holidays that you can't go home, but we look foward to every one that we get to spend with you, our family. We had the best time ever with you guys yesterday! I love you dearly, dearly.
